Supporting growth and resilience for Nunavut’s children & youth

We leverage Inuit Child First Initiative Funding to address systemic challenges and empower families and communities in Nunavut.

Child First Initiative

Inuit Child First Initiative (CFI) is a federally funded program that ensures Inuit children in Canada have access to the education, health, and social services they need.  Qupanuaq leverages CFI funding to provide individual service coordination as well as building programs to address systemic gaps in services for the Qikiqtaaluk region. We work with families, service providers and organizations to provide wrap-around supports to ensure Inuit children thrive.

A baby wearing an orange hoodie sits at a table with various toys. The child plays with wooden blocks and a stacking ring toy. Colorful books and an abacus are visible in the background.
